Swirl bread

I always love to make beautiful bread. This swirl bread is very easy to make and is very delicious. These are stuffed with a spicy chicken filling and cheddar cheese. 


3 cups all purpose flour (450g)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
2 tablespoons of white sugar
2 tablespoons of milk powder 
1 cup warm water to knead (approximately, add more or less accordingly)
1 egg + water for  egg washing
Any filling of your choice 


  1. Mix all the dry ingredients first in a mixing bowl. Then add olive oil and warm water gradually and mix well until all the flour is incorporated into the flour. Knead into a dough.
  2. Now add butter and knead well for about 10 minutes.
  3. Cover and leave it in a warm place to double in size.
  4. Once the dough has doubled in size, divide the dough into 4 equal dough balls. Cover and leave it for 15 minutes.
  5. Now roll out each dough ball and cut into four equal parts and place the filling and fold as in the picture. 
  6. Cover and let it rise in the baking tray for 15 minutes. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  7. Egg wash the breads and bake for 20 -25 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
